Free Drinks in Milwaukee on Your Birthday

There tons of places in Milwaukee that give you free drinks on your birthday, but surprisingly many that don't. I'm writing this article so that people will be able to plan a good route for getting liquored up for free on their birthday. Some of these memories are a bit hazy, but I'll do the best I can.

Wolski's on 1836 N Pulaski St. which gives you what they call the "Chalice of Maturity." It's a giant golden chalice. They add several different alcohols and expect you to drink up and be merry!

Dukes on Water, but really 152 E Juneau Ave, gives you a mixture of nasty medicine that they expect you to take. Along the same lines, but way more fun is Rascals on 2311 N Murray Ave. The girls there turn down the music, pour a combination of alcohol in a large shot glass, which is different every time, give you a cup of water, everyone pound on the bar, they announce it's your birthday, and you forced to take a huge nasty shot. Everyone hates it, but loves that they have done it on their birthday, especially their friends.

Next up is the Safe House, 779 North Front St, Milwaukee, it's a bit hard to find. When I went here on my birthday they didn't do this for me so I haven't experienced this one personally, but really would like to. Very unique place, what I have heard is they put you on a throne and raise you up to the main bar place. On my birthday there was a magician bartender that poured us some awesome shot called red headed sluts fo' free. Yum!

Two places that give you free cups are Rosie's Water Works on 1111 North Water Street and Lucille's Rockin' Pianos on 1110 N Old World 3rd St. Rosie's gives you a cup that you can drink basically anything you want and Lucille's gives you a cup of unlimited beer refills.

There are many different places I have received free shots at on my Birthday. I was given two free shots of Patron at the Twisted Fork on 2238 N Farwell Ave. I spilled the first one and they, with a little fuss, gave me a refill. I had several free shots at the Gasthaus at the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin. I just came back ever couple of hours, there was a new bartender working, and my birthday ID was golden. Axel's Inn on 2859 N Oakland Ave and BBC's on 2022 E North Ave each gave me a free shot of Patron.
